My role is to support our clients alongside development teams to design interfaces that are pleasant, visually appealing (even if that remains subjective), but above all intuitive and easy to use.
I get involved in two different ways depending on the project:
Sometimes starting as early as the pre-sales phase, to demonstrate our capabilities. I then lead workshops with stakeholders to fully understand their needs, create low-fidelity mockups, and after several iterations, design a detailed and partially functional prototype illustrating the envisioned features.
This involves identifying user pain points and removing friction without reinventing everything. It may concern only the look and feel, or lead to rethinking certain processes to make them more relevant.
The approach remains the same: propose, test, challenge—until the most suitable solution is achieved.
I have had the opportunity to work with a wide range of organizations:
public sector, healthcare, cosmetics, urban development, HR services, pharmaceutical distribution, culture & leisure…
These were rich contexts and very diverse projects, focused on the creation or evolution of business applications.
After completing a BTS in communication, I was quickly drawn to creating visual materials (logos, business cards, etc.).
A Bachelor’s degree in Cardiff and a professional degree in multimedia creation allowed me to discover 3D, video, audio, and web development—this is where my passion for visual creation applied to the web truly took shape.
An internship at a web agency in Nantes led to 11 years as a web designer, focusing on creating mockups that met both client and user expectations, while refining my skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, a bit of PHP, exploring visual trends, and developing awareness of accessibility.
Since 2022, I have been working in Low-Code with Outsystems, where I bring my attention to detail and focus on delivering high-quality user experiences, while also contributing to the development of more complex applications.
Low-Code—especially with Outsystems—greatly facilitates component reuse: sharing elements across projects is both easy and strongly encouraged.
Speed of implementation is a major advantage, and the time savings are even greater when multiple projects are delivered for the same client, thanks to a strong shared foundation.
This makes it possible to focus efforts on value creation: applications are more performant and easier to use.
For a front-end–oriented profile, it enables the development of a complete application without necessarily mastering back-end languages.
The ability to build a POC in just a few hours or days to quickly demonstrate a solution to the client.
Flexibility: with Outsystems, you can build, undo, and adjust continuously to always deliver the best possible answer for both the client and the end user.
