Teleworking to reduce pollution

In 2018, commuting accounted for 57% of weekly greenhouse gas emissions. Telecommuting could reduce this impact by 30% according to ADEME. A Regus study estimated that in 2017, 100 million work hours and 7 million tons of GHGs could be saved. At Rokodo.io, our employees choose 2 to 4 days of telecommuting per week, and meet at least once a month to maintain team cohesion.

When possible, biking to work is recommended

According to the Ministry of Energy Transition, transport is the leading contributor to greenhouse gas emissions in France, accounting for nearly 30% of total emissions. At Rokodo.io, we prioritize sustainable mobility: our founder, Minh Tuan Nguyen, bikes 86 km, twice a week, to commute to the office. A symbolic gesture that reflects our commitment to more responsible work practices.

For us, it's zero paper!

According to ADEME, a French employee uses an average of 70 kg of paper per year, which corresponds to 25 kg of CO₂ emissions. Companies produce over 900,000 tons of paper waste annually, equivalent to the deforestation of 17 trees per ton. At Rokodo.io, we don’t use printers to reduce our impact. We prioritize electronic signatures and digital document archiving.

Cohesion and well-being

We promote team cohesion through regular meetings and internal events. Currently, we hold at least 1 in-person meeting per month and 8 weekly meetings to ensure connection among employees, with diverse team-building activities that combine collective challenges and social moments. These actions lay the foundation for a fulfilling and inclusive work environment.

Training and awareness

Our goal is to train all our employees in CSR and sustainable development, with the ambition of reaching 100% of the workforce in the next sessions. This approach aims to strengthen CSR culture within Rokodo, actively involve each employee in our responsible initiatives, and create a lasting collective commitment.

We promote diversity and inclusion within the company, with 30% women in our workforce and a constant commitment to equality. The goal is to encourage each employee to propose CSR initiatives to build an open, participative organization where every voice matters. We also aim to create a work environment where every talent feels valued and supported.

Transparency and monitoring

We aim to establish clear and transparent governance to oversee our CSR actions. The goal is to progressively provide 100% of reports accessible to employees for monitoring and feedback. A CSR committee will soon be operational, with regular meetings to track the progress of initiatives and ensure their alignment.

Security and compliance

Data security and compliance are top priorities. We are implementing GDPR compliance to protect the personal data of our employees and partners, and have started the ISO 27001 process to secure our systems. Awareness sessions have been organized to ensure regular monitoring of incidents and corrective actions.

Partnerships and ethics

We aim to gradually expand the evaluation of our suppliers based on CSR and ethical criteria, with the goal of auditing 100% of our key partners. Internal policies, ethical charters, and procedures will be implemented to guide our practices, with the aim of ensuring responsible and sustainable business conduct.
